Ronald McDonald House: Giving Back One Cookie at a Time
Posted by Calabasas Cake & Cookie Company on Dec 17th 2015
Calabasas Cake & Cookie Company and BrothersHelpingOthers.org teamed up to celebrate the holidays on December 13, 2015. Pizza, salad and sweet knots from Fresh Brothers Pizza was served as was the Stuft Cookie®. The kids were thrilled that stuffed toys were distributed to everyone. Thank you to Lisa Kodimer and Good Deeds in Motion for helping organize the event. Lots of friends were made and laughs were shared. It’s our way of GIVING BACK ONE COOKIE AT A TIME®.
“Brothers Helping Others” was formed by two brothers, Jake Luterman, 17, and Ben Luterman, 14, from Calabasas, California in January 2014. Their goal is to give back to those in need. Created as a fundraising organization, “Brothers Helping Others” brings community together through fundraisers to help Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and specifically it's Rehabilitation Unit. Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) provides state of the art pediatric care to more than 104,000 children each year. Jake and Ben became Junior Ambassadors to CHLA in March of 2014. Jake and Ben are happy to also support the Ronald McDonald House in Los Angeles.
